Dr Jerrard Hayes Ass. Professor, Director MSc in Immunotherapeutics at the School of Biochemistry & Immunology, Trinity College Dublin and former student of CBS Secondary School Kilkenny received a warm welcome to the school today.
He shared his scientific expertise and career journey with 1st Year and 3rd Year students. He impressed on them the value of research and the potential to make lifechanging discoveries. The students had many questions for Prof. Hayes and their curiosity will stand them in good stead as many of them contemplate entering Junior and Senior BTYSTE 2026 and Scifest during the coming years.
