Leinster Schools Combined Championships

A huge well done to our CBC athletes who had an outstanding day at the Schools’ Combined Events in Dublin yesterday!

All six students competed brilliantly across five track and field events, showing great effort, teamwork, and determination throughout the day.

Minor Category
Congratulations to Oren Deniffe and Daniel O’Connell on strong performances. Daniel placed 3rd overall and has qualified for the All-Ireland Finals in the coming weeks!

Junior Category
 Danny Direen gave an excellent performance in what was an extremely competitive division, just missing out on All-Ireland qualification, a great achievement, Danny!

Intermediate Category
 James Kelsey competed brilliantly in one of the toughest divisions of the day, narrowly missing qualification after a strong all-round showing.

Senior Category
To finish the day, Killian Redmond and Cillian Daly both impressed in the Senior division. Killian took 1st place, with Cillian finishing 4th, meaning both athletes have qualified for the All-Ireland Finals!

What a brilliant start to the season for our athletes. Congratulations to everyone involved!
