Leaving Cert History welcomed Ms Jenna Byers from UCD for a thought-provoking session on the moral and human questions raised by life in Nazi Germany.
Ms Byers’ breadth and depth of scholarship helped students explore themes such as collective guilt, moral compromise and the behaviour of ordinary people under dictatorship. Her insights deepened their understanding of the ethical challenges at the centre of this period and will support them as they prepare for their Leaving Certificate exam.
Many thanks to the Heritage Council for supporting this visit through the Heritage in Schools scheme.
