Athletics – South Lienster Championship Day 1

Great success yesterday at the South Leinster Athletics Day 1 where we had 30 Athletes competing over both the track and field events.
Congratulations to the following students who brought home medals: Billy Coogan, Gold in the Senior Steeple Chase. Paddy Kelly, Bronze in the Senior SteepleChase. Alex Cullen, Gold in the 400m Senior hurdles. Evan Walsh, Gold in the Intermediate Race Walk. Robert Coogan, Silver in the Junior 1500m. Christy Tracey-Murphy and Mikey Stynes who took silver and bronze in the Senior Race Walk. Congratulations also to our 1st Year Relay Team of Lucas Duggan, Dara Leamy, Evan Ryan, and Matas Papirtis, who made it to the final of the Minor Relay but just missed out on a medal.
