At Senior Cycle our students sit seven examination subjects for the Leaving Certificate programme. As per Department of Education guidelines, English, Mathematics and Irish are compulsory except for students with exemptions from Irish. All students also take Religion, PE and Career Guidance on a non-examination basis. Some students opt to study an eighth subject. such as Applied Maths, Exam-Religion and LCVP.
The remaining four subjects are chosen from the list of optional subjects based on availability.
