Great success at the South Leinster Day 2 Championships for our athletes.
We had 27 athletes compete over track and Field.

A special mention to:

Alex Cullen- Gold in 110m Senior Hurdles
Billy Coogan- Gold in Senior 5k and well done to Paddy Kelly and Tadhg Ryan who were unlucky to miss out on a medal.
Noah Denniffe- Silver in Inter Javelin
Brian Moore- Bronze in Senior 100m and well done to Darragh Dunne and Darragh Dwan who also made it to the 100m final but just missed out on a medal.
Evan Ryan- Bronze in minor discus
Our 4x100m senior relay team made up of Darragh Dunne, Darragh Dwan, Liam Thompson and Brian Moore took bronze
Our 4x400m senior relay team made up of Alex Cullen, Paddy Kelly, Billy Coogan and Killian Redmond took Gold.
Niall Carpenter and Liam Thompson both made it to the 200m final and ran a strong race.

Well done to all our athletes who competed yesterday- it was a hugely successful day for all our inter and senior athletes! Best of luck to all of our athletes who have now qualified for the Leinster Championships in the coming weeks!
