Kilkenny Fire Station TY Local History Visit- Pics

Many thanks to Senior Assistant Chief Fire Officer Mr Hennessy for the warm welcome to Kilkenny Fire Station. The TY local history students were fascinated to see and try some of the latest upgrades in equipment (including the 20kg handheld jaws of life!) Three firefighters took questions as we toured the station, learning all the roles played by our local fire and rescue service to save lifes. Thanks to all 68 officers for all their vigilance to keep us all safe.
