TY Gaisce students walked 23km on the Waterford Greenway on Wednesday, 9th April 2025. The sunny South East was stunning and the students had a great day.
This was followed by a prayer service at the Edmund Rice Heritage Centre with music from Xavier and Ciarán and lovely hymns sung by the whole group. Soup and rolls were welcome then.
A walking tour of five key sites significant to the life of Edmund Rice took place followed by a sit-out to allow students to reflect on the challenges of being homeless.
