TY Local History Firestation visit- Pics

A big thank you to Sub-Station Officer James Banville, along with Fire Officers Ryan and James, for welcoming our Transition Year Local History students to Kilkenny Fire Station. During the visit, students not only learned about the history of the fire and rescue service but also gained valuable insights into how firefighters respond to emergencies such as fires, accidents, and other life-threatening situations. The fire officers took the opportunity to share important road safety messages and first aid life skills, ensuring that students left with a greater awareness of personal and community safety. We appreciate the time and effort of the Kilkenny Fire Station team in providing such an educational and engaging experience for our students.
