Our TY Local History students had a fantastic session with heritage expert Mr Dave Swift, who brought history off the page and into the classroom with an incredible display of Second World War artefacts. Students had the unique opportunity to examine original and high-quality reproduction items from various historical periods, deepening their understanding of material culture and archaeology.
Mr Swift also shared fascinating insights into his work in film and television, offering a behind-the-scenes look at historical accuracy in media. His vast knowledge and hands-on approach made for an unforgettable experience.
