Massive congratulations to our 5th Year student Michael Holland. Michael won the Over 17 Regional Final of the Europe Direct Soapbox Public Speaking Competition held in Waterford City Council. The competition sponsored by the European Commission Representation welcomed entrants from a number of schools. This year’s topical motion was ‘AI is not a threat to humanity’. Michael now sets his sights on the National final, to be held in the Royal College of Physicians, Dublin, later this month.
