A huge congratulations to the three 5th year students who attended  the Young Economist of the Year awards in the University of Limerick today.

Sean Keogh took home a gold medal as well as the South East Technology University Special Interest award, for his project ‘What are the economic implications of implementing a universal basic income in a developing nation?’

Well done also to Billy O’Keefe who received a silver medal for his project ‘Is History Repeating Itself?’

and Muhammad Taha who received a silver medal for his project, ‘ Sustainability- Plastic Water Bottles’.

It is a great achievement by all students to be recognised for their hard work and dedication to economics at these prestigious awards.

We are extremely proud of our young economists!
